Alaska Mineral Information Index (AKMIDI) project data was collected by T. Crafford & Associates, Anchorage Alaska. The original data was contained in a Microsoft Access database and migrated to an Oracle database by Ed Van Krevelen. This database is maintained by the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, LRIS (Land Resource Information Section). The migration was done to allow sharing the data to the public over the Internet.This application was developed using Oracle JDeveloper 10g ADF UIX technology within the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, LRIS (Land Resource Information Section) GIS (Geographical Information Systems Unit).Funding for this website is being made available through the MDRIA (Minerals Data Information Rescue in Alaska) project.GIS StaffAbout the GIS StaffAbout the GIS Unit The original Microsoft Access database is available for download.
